Employment Eligibility Verification Form (I-9)
A Notary Public can serve as an authorized representative to act on your behalf to assist in completing the Employment Eligibility Verification form (Form I-9) Section 2. Form I-9 is a very important document required by an employer issued by the U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services. The Notary is responsible for filling out, reviewing, and certifying the appropriate identity documents in Section 2 of the form. There is no notarization performed nor a notary seal affixed on the form.
